Dear EFC Members,
As you are aware, we froze all active memberships at the end of March (3/23/2020) due to the pandemic. Throughout the stay at home order, we did our best to meet your fitness needs through virtual and outdoor class options. Thankfully, we were able to reopen our doors in June with capacity limits in place. Since reopening, we have implemented new cleaning and social distancing procedures to keep everyone safe. Check our new cleaning and social distancing procedures HERE!
Up until this point, memberships have been reinstated on a strictly voluntary basis; however, we are informing you that as of 7/27/2020, ALL frozen memberships will be reinstated, and will be submitted to our billing company for the processing of August membership dues on 8/10/2020. Please understand that we have done everything to sustain the club, but we can no longer continue to bear the entire expense of keeping the club open and operational on our own, and are therefore notifying members of these changes so that we all have a neighborhood gym to come to in the future. Membership dues from valued members like yourself will keep our doors open, our employees on staff and will help support the local economy.
If you are not aware, membership now comes with virtual fitness options which include Live Online Group Fitness Classes, On Demand Virtual Classes and our brand-new Fitness App that acts like a personal trainer in the palm of your hand. Our trainers have built workouts in the app that you can do at home or in the gym and will be adding more every month.
We understand that some of you may not be comfortable returning to the gym for various reasons. Due to our in-person group fitness schedule being on hiatus, our new, separate studio space next door is available for member use.
If the separate studio space is not an option, or you are unable to pay your monthly membership fee, please use form below to contact us, or stop by the club to learn about your options. All members who freeze or terminate their membership between 8/10/20 and 9/3/20 will be exempt from the customary 30-day notice cancellation requirement. We will resume our traditional billing schedule beginning on 9/4/20.
The positive leap forward with reinstating will provide you with the ability to use the club, after of course reviewing and acknowledging all our safety procedures. But, if you are still not ready to stop in and prefer to remain physically distant, your full-time status will assist you to keep your health a top priority by granting you access to our many virtual training options mentioned above. Check out our virtual class & on-demand video options.
